According to recent studies children catch an average of eight to 10 colds per year resulting in a loss of over 120 million schooldays and downtime for the entire family. Washing hands frequently, is a great way to prevent the spread of germs and help keep families healthier.
Now that the little one is potty trained, we have moved on the to hassle of learning a new bathroom skill, hand washing. We are trying to get her to understand that just putting your hands in the water for a second does not get them clean.
SoapTime® is a hand washing system that provides a fun and educational experience of lights, music and facts to keep kids at the sink for the recommended 20 seconds. The system consists of a base and three themed soap bottles. Each bottle has 18 unique songs, factoids and custom LED light shows to keep kids at the sink and washing.
My daughter’s favorite soap is the orange learning ABC theme. I love listening to her say hello and goodbye in Chinese, French and Spanish. She often finds the soap time system so much fun that I have to convince her to stop washing (usually after pushing the soap three or four times). It is interesting to see how she retains the different sayings and words she learns from the SoapTime
