Holiday Gift Guide: My Little Pony Plush (review & giveaway)

Between my sister and I we had a My Little Pony world filled with dozens of ponies, pony friends, and piles of accessories. We had the Castle, Stable and the Cascade Waterfall.  We played for hours on end day after day.

For years, the pony collection has been packed away for the day when one of my siblings or I had a daughter that I could share them with.  I ended up being the only one with a daughter, so last year I carefully unpacked my pony collection and let my daughter experience the joy that is My Little Pony.

We played with them for hours, it was so much fun to be able to go back to pony world.  She wanted to take one to bed but since they are not the most cuddly, I had to tell her that the pony could not go in bed but would sit on her night stand and watch over her.  She wasn’t entirely convinced but it worked.

We needed a better solution and Funrise Toys provided us with the perfect alternative. Newly released 5″, 10″, and soon to be available 20″ My Little Pony Plush toys.  We have a 5″ and 10″ Rainbow Dash, my daughter likes to pretend them are mommy and baby ponies.  They are soft and squishy, making for much better snugglers than the plastic play toy versions.

The Funrise catalog of toys also includes selections from Tonka, Baby Alive, National Geographic Kids, and More.

Where to find: The Funrise 10″ My Little Pony Plush is available exclusively at Walmart and the 5″ plush are available at Toys R’ Us and Target.

Funrise Toys has generously offered one lucky Over Thirty Mommy reader a 5″ and 10″ My Little Pony Plush to give to a special little girl this holiday season!

  1. These plushies are okay, but the fans make ones that are way better. I’ve seen other companies make plushies of their characters that really look like the characters’ animation appearance.
