What a great show! Disney On Ice presents Frozen was a spectacular show filled with stunning costumes and fun pyrotechnics.
Having been to many Disney on Ice spectaculars, I knew that the Moda Center would be filled with children and adults dressed in costume so when my daughter asked if she could go in her Elsa costume, I of course said yes.
The show started with a special visit from Disney favorites such as Mickey & Minnie, Ariel & Eric, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider, and many more Disney pairs. They danced on ice and wowed the crowd getting us excited for what was to come.
The show then continued with the story of the love between the sisters of Arendelle. The crowed loved it and you could hear the children singing along with their favorite songs from the movie. We of course loved all the costumes and characters but one of the stand out favorites for us was the snow monster that chased away Anna, Christof, and Olaf. He was a giant blow up that roamed the ice blowing smoke. It was amazing and the kids seemed to love it.
There was not a second that you were not in awe of the spectacular displays, lights, and sounds from the show. It kept you glued to your seat waiting to see what would happen next. There were a few minor plot changes from the movie but they were implemented seamlessly into the show that you hardly noticed.
Overall the show was amazing, one of the best I have seen and I have seen my fair share. I found myself singing along quietly to myself and gasping at all the amazing sights and sounds. Loved the pyrotechnics!
Can not wait for the next show!
